Two players who are dropping in ADP that are easily top tier players on the same team.

Ryan Tannehill and Julio Jones are both players you need to target to have on your teams

in as many leagues as possible. Tannehill has dropped 7 spots in ADP since August 1, and

Julio has dropped 5 spots. Digging into some advanced metrics, this is what Tannehill was

able to do last season without Julio:

-15th in passing yards

-7th in pass TD's

-6th in YPA

-2nd in fantasy points per drop-back

-5th in catchable pass rate

-1st in production premium

-4th in QBR.

This resulted in the number 9 QB in fantasy in fantasy points per game in 2020.

Where did Tannehill struggle?

-30th in Pass plays per game, which will go up this year, first due to Julio's presence,

but also because Derrick Henry will regress slightly. They will protect him for January

and increase drop-backs for Tannehill.

-33rd in play-action completion percent. When you have Brown and Jones on the field, play-action is going to be more heavily incorporated into their play style. Corey Davis was good last year, but replacing him with Julio will create more separation in the play-action game.

-27th in deep ball completion %.

-His receivers were 51st in target separation, and YAC for the receivers ranked 40th.

Where does Julio excel? Well, I think the list would be shorter if we discussed what he wasn't elite in doing. But, in '19, he was:

-1st in air yards

-2nd in deep targets

-2nd in completed air yards

-16th in YAC

-4th in expected points added.

Tannehill is already incredibly efficient. Adding the best receiver of the last decade

will only help his cause. I love drafting these two as a stack, and you should too. Barring

injury, this could be a top-5 offense easily in 2021. Tannehill is going right around 111 in drafts, but get him in the 8th or 9th. Julio is currently going right around 41 overall, so he is a great 4th round target.
